1 | Investing on your future means working on something or doing something that can compound over time, provides you long term growth, and is meaningful to you. It will provide high value to you.

2 | Enjoying your present means enjoying what you have now and being grateful on where you are at.

* It’s important to differentiate between meaningful enjoyment and meaningless pleasure.

  * The former is a type of enjoyment that you’re left satisfied by afterward.

  * The latter is the inverse. It’s a type of enjoyment that leaves you dissatisfied afterward and has you **wanting** more to the point where you can’t stand that desire that you succumb to it.

**The utopia of time spenditure is in the intersection between investment and enjoyment.**

Spending your time with investment in your future while enjoying what you’re doing.

I hypothesize that Brain Computer Interfaces may be the key to unlocking the capability for building technologies designed for seamless interaction.

Building the optimal BCI system requires intentional use of signal processing and machine learning to allow for accurate analysis.

Intersecting EEG, Signal Processing, and Machine Learning

This got me curious about the application of deep learning in EEG diagnostics.

I took the paper & replicated code for a DRNN, broke it down for understanding, and reconstructed it for myself.

Inefficiencies in the ability of the Indian Railway to effectively transport coal is leading to a power crisis as 60% power plants running on domestic coal reported critically low coal levels.

Our solution is to implement the A\* algorithm alongside the Deep-Q-Network to optimize the Indian Railway’s coal transportation based on a scheduling and routing basis.

So I decided to build a neural network using only NumPy to understand how neural networks really work at a foundational level.
