As I'm looking to gain an understanding and practical skillsets at the intersection of BCIs and ML, foundational knowledge is key.
So I decided to build a neural network using only NumPy to understand how neural networks really work at a foundational level.
Built a personal website to get an understanding of how to use next.js, with no prior JavaScript experience.
EEG diagnostics have a 21% misinterpretation rate...
This got me curious about the application of deep learning in EEG diagnostics.
I took the paper & replicated code for a DRNN, broke it down for understanding, and reconstructed it for myself.
To train a technical skillset in EEG signal processing & analysis, I used MNE to clean and filter an EEG signal to calculate a theta:beta ratio.
I built a Neurofeedback System, using OpenBCIs Ganglion, to track your focus via EEG to output 'Supercharged!' if focused or 'Focus on what matters most.' if unfocused.
Inefficiencies in the ability of the Indian Railway to effectively transport coal is leading to a power crisis as 60% power plants running on domestic coal reported critically low coal levels.
Our solution is to implement the A* algorithm alongside the Deep-Q-Network to optimize the Indian Railway’s coal transportation based on a scheduling and routing basis.
