Description

We are currently on the lookout for a producer (project manager) to complement our 5-star team. We are looking for a well structured and cool head with excellent communication skills to juggle projects hand in hand with our design team.

It will be a great advantage if you have already worked in the field of project management of digital design projects, but a strong hands-on mentality will be particularly important for this position.

With opening another role we are always aiming to create an even more diverse, more inclusive work environment at Studio Lenzing.

Since we are currently building up our core team, this job will be on-site in our Hamburg studio.

What you’ll do

  • Manage digital design projects in a flexible, multidisciplinary team environment, from kickoff to delivery, with strategic and iterative project approaches.

  • Responsible for day-to-day client management or support of client management (depending on the complexity of the project) to train and guide clients through Studio Lenzing's processes. The result of your efforts positions Studio Lenzing and the project team as a world-class design studio by delivering the project in a way that meets the client's business goals.

  • Responsible for conducting early risk management exercises to minimize project risk and ensure delivery excellence.

  • Help teammates clear blockages and complete tasks. Work to build strong relationships: on the one hand between internal disciplines such as copywriting, research, design, strategy, and freelancers, and on the other hand between Studio Lenzing and partners with other disciplines to communicate status updates and set project priorities and goals.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet client goals and deadlines. If necessary, make adjustments after consultation with the team lead.

  • Observe and contribute to the project accounting process as a partner of the design owner. Track budget costs, and hours, and report to project.

  • Contribute to resource decisions by effectively communicating project requirements, postponements, and overruns. Prioritize projects with stakeholders when needs exceed available resources. You’ll bring a solution-oriented mindset to all resourcing conversations to ensure project success of all agency projects.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across disciplines within your project teams, and provide an inclusive and integrated team that works together to solve problems and adapt accordingly.

  • Bring your strategic perspective to the task, the team, and the approach consistently asking the team and client questions to deepen your understanding of the project and client, rather than just executing the task. You see yourself as a key contributor to the success of the project and not only have a "get it done" but "how can this be better", "what does success look like", and "is this innovative" way of thinking. Find the balance between directing the work and empowering team members to get the job done.

  • Lead and maintain general client relationships in assigned client groups and develop key relationships that position Studio Lenzing as a strategic advisor and innovation partner. As the main point of contact, you are a dynamic, honest, and trusted partner to your clients and work diligently with your creative director.

  • Be a balanced advocate in the work for client goals and user needs while you champion the team’s vision.

Our expectations of you

  • 3+ years of experience in the production of digital/web/app or design projects.

  • A passion for growing in your craft and career.

  • A passion for working digitally and an innovative mindset along with a drive to create an inclusive welcoming environment.

  • Keep momentum and rhythm in your daily work to deliver consistently and efficiently.

  • Be open and flexible in your work and focus on the effective, respectful influence.

  • Engage with a positive attitude and impactful presence within the larger team and clients to deliver the best possible products and results.

  • Stand up as an influential trusted advisor to the team and clients.

  • You are a well-organized/structured and reliable individual with a confident, professional, and calm demeanor.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills internally as well as externally with the ability to handle high-maintenance clients.

  • Create a calm and focused work environment.

  • Effectively manage multiple types of projects and products at Studio Lenzing.
