Leveraged No-code/Bubble.io to build prototypes of products that turn the Mochary Method into software.
Hired by Bubble as a bootcamp instructor, where I taught an entry level class on how to build apps in Bubble.
Worked to build the foundation of the no-code recruitment process. Our goal was to partner with no-code developers to connect them to clients for paid projects.
Joined On Deck as a fellow in their inaugural No-Code Cohort. While there I explored my burgeoning interest in no-code, built my first product in Bubble, and won First Place on demo day
Worked on product design and web design projects for clients from across the globe. My specialization was Webflow for website builds, and Bubble for app builds.
Hired as employee #2 to build the venture studio arm. This initiative was launched as a subsidiary of Kensta Group. As the operations associate, I ran the internal operations, built our social media presence, created design and communications collateral, and supported our internal portfolio company.
Unfortunately, the initiative was eventually shut down due to the impact of the Covid pandemic.
Worked on commissions as an artist, and exhibited paintings. Represented by Kioko Mwitiki art gallery in Nairobi.
As part of my work, I strove to raise awareness of issues concerning wildlife conservation, using Instagram, and via the Nature Conservancy.
As an architectural designer, I worked with Othaya Group to develop plans for their Limuru Hills resort development cabins, and developed designs for the interior of their restaurant space.
Projects
Designed and built an AI Bot of Matt Mochary for Mochary Method.
Audio playback does not work on read.cv, but you can listen to the audio and view the project on Dribbble: dribbble.com/shots/22106234…
A budgeting app to help people track their spending across multiple sources. This was the winning project for the inaugural On Deck No-Code Fellowship. [Note: App Refactoring in progress]
A collection of work from my days as a student, architectural designer, and artist.
Side Projects
Built a carbon calculator app for Bubble's first hackathon in October. Won "Best Design" for the project at Bubblecon.
I challenged myself to see if I could build an app in 24 hours, and Inkline (linked here) is my first attempt.
The goal of this challenge is to master the art of simplicity, by stripping down an idea to the bare essentials and building around those.
Inkline is a document editor built in Bubble, with the goal of encouraging clear thinking and clear writing. More about the app can be found in the link.
Like Tiktok. But not. Definitely and legally not.
I built this, along with the other app clones, simply to display the potential of no-code tools and Bubble.
Note: The app was optimized mainly for mobile.

You ever listen to a Twitter space and wish you could find the recording or share it with friends?
Spacepods allows you to relive the conversation!
Like my other clone projects, this app was created to showcase the potential of no-code and of Bubble, at a time when it was less mainstream.
The username and password are "username" and "password".
And yes, I know.
Exhibitions
Exhibited and sold art at the Nairobi Art Museum
My painting was bought by the Nature Conservancy, and the artwork was featured as part of their campaign to raise awareness of Elephant conservation. A copy of the artwork was also presented to the First Lady of Kenya, Margaret Kenyatta. (Page 9 of link)
Writing
I write articles to teach novices how to build apps using Bubble.io. My most popular article is linked above. Each article is sent to 500+ subscribers via email.
