Work Experience
After moving to Tokyo during corona, I started a new freelance company, helping clients with their needs when it comes to graphic profiles, front-end development and communications platforms.
Between 2009 and 2021, I founded, ran and managed a digital communications agency with 9 employees. During these years I’ve overseen everything from the initial startup of a project, all the way to the final delivery and follow up with planning for the client’s future.
The last 3-4 years I was focused on UI/UX design work with a splash of front-end development while project managing the team. I’ve overseen big and small clients and projects. Led workshops about strategic develop- ment, and then visualized the result.
Together with a strong team of coders we built (at the time) the biggest and most used online community in Sweden, with branches all over Europe.
Work consisted of everything from high to low. Creation of internal/external designs, interactive and real world campaigns, concepts, community features and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts, and we had tons of fun doing it.
As the first in-house UI/UX designer, I helped build the first 2 versions of the ekstrabladet.dk website.
Since I was fluent in both design and programming (front-end), I oversaw each project from start to finish. Also made sure the site and graphic profile evolved together with the rest of the internet and never dropped behind.
