Web Design & Development in Villarrica, Chile

About

My name is Mike, and I'm currently family-ing, designing, coding & translating, writing an occasional thought, and enjoying a good whisky between city and country in south-central Chile.

Projects

Ongoing

Publii is an amazing program that makes it easy to create and manage your website. Over the course of a month, I reviewed and translated more than 1,300 lines of code into Spanish, both for the main program and for the text editor.

2023

Geraldine Ovalle is a chef and gourmet who lives in the south-central part of Chile. She wanted to redesign her old website and update it with some of the new services she offers. Geraldine was also hoping to combine in one website her work and education history, her personal writings, and her past and present projects.

2014

I was contracted by Geraldine Ovalle and Natalia Barría, two winners of the Regional Fondart in 2014, to provide the design for their book, Huellas y sabores de mujeres en la cordillera. The idea was for this particular book to be the first of three volumes, highlighting local chefs and their businesses.

Features

2023

A couple of websites I created are featured on the Publii Showcase (elmikewalsh.com and yowalsh.com)
