### **What is MahaDAO?**

MahaDAO is a community-focused decentralized organization launching the world’s first value coin, ARTH, dedicated to solving inflation problems and bringing stability to the economy.\
The Protocol employs a two-token system. The first being, ARTH a new type of currency designed to not be pegged to government-owned currencies (like US Dollar, Euro, or Chinese Yuan), but still remain relatively stable (unlike Gold and Bitcoin). Without being influenced by government-owned currencies, ARTH is backed by GMU(Global measurement Unit) and the Second token is governance token MAHA.

### Overview

Since the team launched the first version of ARTH in January 2021 the team tried and tested different types of models to build a stable value coin until [June 2021](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mahadao-launch-worlds-first-valuecoin-134500049.html), whether it is a fully collateral-backed model, elastic supply model, Seigniorage Share model, or partial collateral model. The team tested all and finally got stability. It was foundation after which we can scale it through different products. here I remember a line by Paul Graham “In order to scale, you have to first do things that don’t scale at all”. This article will explain my experiences and journey of building a platform to scale the ARTH.

#### Product Vision

After getting stability, the core strategy was to build a platform that can scale the ARTH ecosystem for larger adoption. That’s where the ARTH Loan came into the picture. A product like this had always been a part of MahaDAO’s long-term plan. A product where users can take the most advantage through value coin without worrying about volatility so building ARTH Loan from which users can take a loan with zero interest and generate ARTH with leveraged position would be the right and perfect opportunity to grow the market cap and users.

### I was the sole designer to work on an end-to-end process to design a cross-platform experience, a design system that allows us not only to design and build things more efficiently but also helps evolve the product faster multiple times a year.

**What is the end goal?**\
Send money around the world as instantly as sending a message without any centralized entity.

In starting the main goal was to use ARTH as the underlying asset for payment to send money as instantly as sending a message but as we are just starting out and to create market liquidity of ARTH we needed to add assets such as ETH, WBTC, USDC, PETRO, MAHA which have already liquidity in the market.

As the wallet is completely decentralized it should not use any centralized service like email or phone number for sign up or sign-in process. so it will use the public key and private key model for the sign-up/ sign-in process.

By default feature of blockchain with anyone’s wallet address anyone can see wallet transaction history. so for privacy, users should be able to send receive payment with complete privacy and to achieve anonymity we used by zkSnark technology. A zk-SNARK is a cryptographic proof that allows one party to prove it possesses certain information without revealing that information.

### Why was Maha tracker needed?

A company looking to raise money to create a new coin, app, or service launches an IDO as a way to raise funds and before crowd sale IDO. IDO can happen in different stages like pre-sale, seed-stage, and then crowd sale. A presale/ seed stage IDO event consists of funding from family, friends, investment groups or funds, existing cryptocurrency or venture capital investors, or individual investors, and a crowd sale ICO consists of funding from the general public. \
Some founders may choose to do only one round or a combination of any two rounds. after IDO, tracking this fund through token allocation to investors is a cumbersome process. like, who had held tokens for a long time or who is dumping tokens. which can make a huge impact on token prices and future projects. earlier the only solution was to track through making a list of all investors in an excel sheet or something like that but still, we can’t keep track of all the data that we require. so that’s when the idea of MahaTracker was born.

As I was the first designer of MahaDAO, from start I considered working on building a scalable design system from the ground up which can be useful to build products as it scales and keep the entire product ecosystem consistent on a multitude of platforms and devices even with multiple introductions of new features. It truly helped to reduce the time to build and design multiple products by using existing design patterns.\
For building a design system, I approached the Atomic Design methodology. as the different products grew at a scale I added more patterns to make evolving system. I added these patterns to create a component library which I referred to throughout the design process. Making a whole design system from scratch was challenging considering time constraints but while iterating on designs it helped to increase productivity and I was able to focus more on solving design problems to experiment with more ideas faster.

Design System

I led design for end-to-end experience with content, user experience strategy, and design systems for all platforms iOS, Android, and browser extensions.\

The goal of this wallet was to provide a simple and smooth UX to existing Web3 users and new users onboarding into the Web3 ecosystem. I designed some new  design patterns from the ground up, expecting them to change how users interact with web3 dApps in multi-chain.

From 3 projects one of the projects I had done was on health-care services "Advance Ambulance Assistance system" with the project name "JIVADORI". It was based on Ambulance service. This project was nominated for DMIT awards from all over state Gujarat universities for the best innovative ideas.

How ARTH Stablecoin Was Built and Designed to Protect The User's Purchasing Power

ARTH is a type of currency that is designed not to be pegged to government-owned currencies (like the US Dollar, Euro, or Chinese Yuan), but still remain relatively stable (unlike Gold and Bitcoin). Without being influenced by government-owned currencies, ARTH will be immune to inflation. Through stability, ARTH also becomes a superior choice of money for means of trade. I joined Laguna as a product designer and subsequently took the lead in designing various products from the ground up. This includes creating a non-custodial wallet, developing a decentralized global inflation dashboard, and establishing a marketplace for Truflation and NUON - a Flatcoin backed by the decentralized CPI of truflation.
