My name is Mike Odnis, and I am an up an coming full-stack software engineer. Based in Long Island, New York. Mostly self-taught, first-gen, sophomore, computer science major. With a wealth of technical experience, and knowledge.

• Monitored site performance using Wix’s analytics dashboard for 3,000+ users, leading to a 15% increase in engagement, and 10% reduction in bounce rates, and a 150% increase (in 2023) in new and returning users.

• Established the GitHub organization, and designed and hosted two central GDSC (Google Student Developer Clubs) Farmingdale websites. Delivering a professional and impactful online presence for the organization.
• Created two main applications, the club website, and LinkTree clone. Using Next.js, Vite, React, JavaScript, and Typescript. Improved SEO, implemented PWA, and used Netlify, Github Pages, and Vercel for hosting.
• Created an Express API, which scrapes the top 5 most recent, and current GDSC events from a GDSC Clubs page, using Cheerio, and Puppeteer. Developed entirely in TypeScript. It works for all other GDS

• Stayed the entire event, and eventually was assigned the role of 'judge' where I gave my critique on their projects, so they have a better understanding of what exactly they are trying to present if they so ever choose to work on it after the hackathon.⏎
• Showed new 'hackers' (Highschool - college Grads) the ropes regarding hackathons and guided what could have been done to improve their projects. What to do and not to do. Gave useful tools and applications to hackers to increase efficiency and reduce the workload.⏎
• Helped with coding-related issues (mostly front-end), and ideation.⏎
