Looking for remote opportunities...
About
Hey! My name is Victor, a product designer who loves to create products and user experiences that are both functional and visually compelling.
I believe that every solution I design should be centered on satisfying the user's needs, and I'm always looking for new ways to make things easier for people to use.
This includes creating usable digital products for web and mobile phones and solving problems affecting a product's or brand's usability.
Projects
Collaborated with a team of 5 to design and develop an online reservation service platform where students can easily get access to dozens of accommodations around their universities.
After working on the Virtual Family space with the GIC Dev. team, I was reassigned to also do a total redesign of the church's website, as they looking to totally change and improve their online presence.
As the Lead UX Designer on the project, I started researching other churches that had already broken into the online space, their design system, and their approach which was used to create the mood board for our designs.
We also had to consider the usability of the new website, as the GIC members did not use the previous website because of poor user experience.
The project task during this internship was "How might we help EV users find and navigate to the nearest charging stations?".
- During this program, I created a persona for user research to help guide the designs of the mobile app.
- Designed and polish a basic wireframe, and created a simple prototype demonstrating where the user clicks on the interface to complete their objective.
The Genesis Restaurant is the best and fastest way to order food from the Genesis restaurant. The app helps users find the best deals on their menu, and also find out when they have new dishes available, and so much more.
I created a better user experience by enabling users access to online menus, give reviews and ratings, order and pay for food by using the mobile app
GIC Virtual Family Space is an online platform for the members of Gateway International Church to connect and bond with fellow members.
As the UI Designer in this project, my goal was to create a design that enable the v/fam space more interactive and engaging, which required the v/fam space with more functionality, and that information is passed in a defined and excellent manner.

Education
Introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming. This course teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web programming. Languages include C, Python, and SQL plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Problem sets are inspired by the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
The course culminates in a final project. Designed for concentrators and non-concentrators alike, with or without prior programming experience. Two-thirds of CS50 students have never taken CS before. Among the overarching goals of this course are to inspire students to explore unfamiliar waters, without fear of failure, create an intensive, shared experience, accessible to all students, and build community among students.
The course begins with a discussion of the man-machine-environment system and the domains of ergonomics. Furthermore, we discussed the factors affecting body dimensions and postural requirements. Then, looked at the creative techniques and tools for concept generation and evaluation., and also studied the physical models and safety guidelines in the product prototyping process.
Finally, we analyzed the factors of usability and the product personality assessment.
