Overview
In June 2020, I joined Zoop Care — a startup aiming to change the scene of long-term healthcare in Vietnam. As the Product Designer, I owned mobile app design for healthcare consumers and led the design for Zoop Care's Care Day campaign.
Process
The healthcare system in Vietnam was underdeveloped. People do not get the treatment they need after visiting the doctors, leaving in the dark until they have some issues. Zoop Care wanted to change that. We aim at facilitating seamless information exchange between clinics and patients, enabling better treatment plans, appointment bookings, and direct doctor-patient communication.
My design process began with empathizing with users, leading to the identification of three key personas: Caregivers, Health Advocates, and Seasonal Users. This insight helped tailor Zoop Care's services to meet diverse needs.
I conducted user interviews to validate personas, discovering the high motivation of Caregivers in managing their family's health yet secretly yearning for the care from someone else. In the design phase, I opted for a bright color palette, ensuring the brand's personality resonated with our users' needs for attentive care.
Outcome
The outcome was remarkable: Zoop Care achieved over 10,000 MAUs, a 70% retention rate, and a 4.8/5 rating on app stores. I also helped the team with the Care Day campaign, helping the company raise $4.2 million in Pre-Seed funding, marking its position as one of Vietnam's Top 100 SMEs by December 2020.
