People today increasingly consume news and video on platforms like Facebook and Snapchat. For publishers to reach new and larger audiences, they must embrace a new playbook for distributing content — a strategy less focused on driving clicks, to one that engages consumers in the apps and platforms they use every day. John will share lessons from his years at The New York Times and BuzzFeed, on how we, as designers and creators, can experiment with format, tone and framing to design experiences people love.
Led a half-day hands-on workshop on designing for Tablets.
