Hitachi Construction Machinery provides a multitude of industry customers, including mining, construction, quarry & forestry with high-quality machinery. To efficiently collaborate with European dealers, we build a platform to share knowledge and assets.

**My role**

Netvlies (development agency) asked me to join their team to assist with forming the overall product strategy and designing the user experience and visual design.

Collaboration platform for all 100+ dealers in Europe

**Case**

WOLF Rijbewijsshop is one of the largest driving schools in the Netherlands. A 'video app' was developed that supports students in their driving training. It also allows them to plan their own lessons. Currently, however, this was underused and user-friendliness was low.

**My Role**

Netvlies (Development Agency) involved me as a designer for a redesign of the current application and support of the development team.

**Results:**

The improvement in online marketing campaigns significantly improved the quality of leads (read: fewer dropouts) and increased the number of trial lessons by **29.68%,** with the same marketing costs.

Almost all students now use the app to schedule their lessons. This results in substantial time savings. Customer service employees can take 2.5x more cars under their wing for this purpose than before. This has made customer service as much as **250% more efficient**.

As soon as a (sick) student cancels last minute, the other students of this instructor are immediately informed via SMS via the app that they can book the vacant lesson. This results in **50% fewer lesson cancellations**. This was also a godsend during corona. When it was announced after the lockdown that WOLF was allowed to offer driving lessons again, this was immediately communicated via the app. Schedules filled up quickly. This saved WOLF literally thousands of phone calls.

Customer satisfaction wasn't this high before. Students enjoy scheduling their own driving lessons. Clear videos and training make them better prepared. They also see exactly what skills they still need to develop to succeed. **As many as** **96% of our customers recommend WOLF with an average score of 9.3/10** (source: klantenvertellen.nl).

Redesign of e-learning app that serves 70+ driving schools and thousands of students a day.

**Case**

Replacing a legacy system containing tons of valuable data that influenced the daily operations of brands like ICI Paris, Kruidvat and Trekpleister. The renewed version supports the logistic teams to easily click together repeated processes and collaborate on them as a team.

Renewed operational system of retail corporate

**Case**

To boost sales in KPN shops, LG Benelux approached me to help think about a platform on which they could make specially appointed 'LG ambassadors' real fans of the brand.

They will be the LG point of contact for customers within the KPN shops. It is therefore extremely important that they understand, feel and can communicate the brand. Of course, it is not permitted to offer financial incentives; it is up to me to activate these users.

**Results**

The main aim of the research was to find out whether this solution stimulates engagement with the target group. Initial tests showed that this was the case.

However, it did not stop there. At the start of the in-depth test phase, LG Benelux divested its entire mobile branch. Including this project.

Educate shop sales people about the new LG phones

**Case**

Digizeker is a digital encrypted save for that stores highly valuable personal files like contracts, family pictures, and last wishes. The biggest challenge with this project was that encrypted accounts bring a lot of security advantages, but are not particularly user-friendly, considering the lack of password recovery. On top of that, the primary target group is 50+, so statistically not the most tech-savvy user group.

Thesio (development agency) asked me as a user experience and visual designer to build the first MVP from the ground up for their client Digizeker.

Encrypted digital safe

**Case**

iTel Alert is used by companies such as NS, Siemens and the Red Cross to quickly summon emergency staff in the event of incidents, facilitate internal communication via walkie-talkies and activate protocols. The current application is outdated but active at many companies but is logically only used during incidents. The main focus of the redesign was therefore on making the existing functionalities more intuitive so that every user immediately understands what needs to be done, even when under enormous stress and pressure.

Orcagroup engaged me as a designer for a redesign of the current application and support of the development team.
