About
Hello, my name in Kevin. A Brooklyn native with a passion for transforming ideas into visually stunning realities. With an extensive background in graphic design, my aim is to seamlessly blend technology and artistry to bring concepts to life.
With a keen eye for detail and a unique artistic flair, I've cultivated a distinctive style that spans across various mediums, including graphic design, illustration and painting.
With a commitment to excellence and a passion for pushing creative boundaries, I continue to make waves in the world of design, leaving an indelible mark on the visual landscape.
Projects
I created this ad for Eastside Golf to showcase their new golf ball in collaboration with Bridgestone. The design features the ball leaving tread marks through the rough, with the animation later produced in-house.
I created these welcome cards for Prime 1 Sports, an organization that represents student-athletes by helping them build and promote their NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) as they work toward becoming professional athletes.
Graphics for the 2024 Montclair Film Festival taking place in Montclair, NJ.
I crafted this logo for a podcast celebrating the boating culture, specifically aimed at enthusiasts of color. The concept was to blend the symbol of the black fist with that of a boat anchor, symbolizing unity and connection within the boating community.
I designed this logo for a marketing agency specializing in assisting higher education institutions. Leveraging analytics for solutions, I integrated graphs and a pie chart to craft the company's distinctive GCM mark.
Illustrative projects for graphic tees.
I spearheaded the design and layout of the Black Rocket Summer Camps brochure at Brookdale Community College, collaborating closely with the client to address key project points. Additionally, I took charge of crafting all visual assets featured in the brochure.
Robert "Kool" Bell, known for his achievements with Kool and the Gang, achieved further success with his exclusive champagne line, Le Kool, and the Grand Cru. When he envisioned introducing his Rosé to the market, Kool aimed for a distinctive bottle that celebrated women worldwide. Approaching this project, my objective was to resonate with women from all walks of life, creating an image that exuded empowerment, allure, and enchantment. The outcome was a self-assured mermaid, now affectionately referred to as "the first lady."
Concept and Development of storylines, branding, universe and character concepts.
Crux's Carbon Blue Steel pans and Air Fryers made a notable entrance, sparking conversations among many. SL USA Productions entrusted me with enhancing the visual appeal of their concepts.
Posters to promote Orange Book Comic's graphic novel ALBATROSS JUNCTION. A futuristic, post apocalyptic story about the world without a sun.
**Cult of Individuality has forged a reputation as the Jeansmith to the misfit, the dreamer, the trail blazer, the contrarian and the upstart. For this project I was asked to come up with marketing and advertising assets to match the spirit of the brand and its collaborators.**
While working at Brookdale College, I spearheaded the school's rebranding initiative. The only ask was to retain the abstract "CCM" in the updated logo while ensuring a "user-friendly" appearance for the new look. I initiated the process by revising the mark and specifying the color palette as the first step. To instill a sense of sophistication across all assets, we opted to incorporate black to set the desired mood. We then collaborated with Splendor Design to establish Brookdale's new graphic guidelines.
I designed the logo for the NY Streets Arena League Football team, incorporating the owner's request for a sewer cap reference in the final design.
I had the privilege of designing the logo for an online blog situated in Brooklyn, NY. This blog focused on exploring new children's books with an emphasis on education and learning.
Page layouts from Sony Magazine, an internal publication distributed to both employees and customers of the Sony Professional division. This division specializes in the production of high-end studio cameras and cutting-edge editing suites.
Pro BMXer Nigel Sylvester frequently hosted events at his streetwear boutique, Format. Among them, Queens Bully stood out, taking place in front of Format in Queens, NY.
