Work Experience

2021 — Now
Bournemouth

As a UX/UI Designer at Spyrosoft, I have had the privilege of working on a substantial healthcare client account, Thornbury Nursing, where I oversee the design of five distinct products, ranging from mobile apps and web applications to websites and internal portals. My role involves close collaboration with diverse product teams and stakeholders, including Product Owners, Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers, to ensure the alignment of design strategies with client objectives.

From inception to fruition, I've executed designs across the entire spectrum, from low-fidelity prototypes to pixel-perfect high-fidelity interfaces, utilizing industry-standard tools like Figma. To bring concepts to life and gather valuable user feedback, I am proficient in creating interactive prototypes using Figma, InVision, and ProtoPie.

My expertise extends to crafting responsive designs, guaranteeing an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes. Working within an agile environment with well-defined sprints, I thrive on meeting project milestones and delivering exceptional results on time. Furthermore, I've played a pivotal role in establishing a robust design system, streamlining the design process and fostering consistency across all products.

2020 — 2021
Remote

I was a designer on the Engagement team at Armut, a rapidly growing startup and international service marketplace based in Turkey, where users can discover a wide range of services, from home improvement to pet grooming, through their website and mobile app.

My primary role involved conceptualising ideas to enhance user engagement on both the website and app platforms. I contributed to two major projects during my tenure: first, an MVP project titled 'Neighbourhood,' and second, a homepage redesign aimed at improving user engagement. Throughout these projects, I collaborated closely with product owners, developers, the marketing team, and other designers to ensure seamless execution.

Additionally, I played a key role in establishing the design system for the Neighbourhood project, which helped maintain consistency and efficiency in our design processes. To better understand user needs and evaluate new features, I actively participated in usability testing. I was responsible for developing UX/UI visuals using Figma, creating illustrations and images with Adobe Creative Suite, and facilitating communication through Discord and Slack. For project management, we utilised Jira to keep everything organised and on track.

2018 — 2020
Istanbul

In my role at I-AM, a London-based international design agency, I played a pivotal role as a service designer in two significant customer experience projects for two of Turkey's largest companies: Halkbank, one of the largest state-owned banks, and Metro Grossmarket, a leading wholesale market. My responsibilities included conducting extensive customer research, creating comprehensive experience maps and service blueprints, some of which were as long as I am tall, and developing strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.

In both projects, I employed a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, and focus groups, to identify customer expectations and pinpoint existing issues. Additionally, I facilitated ideation workshops to help these companies explore creative and innovative solutions for their experience-related challenges.

Furthermore, I provided support to the UX team by assisting in usability tests, which involved writing test scripts and moderating the tests to ensure a user-centered approach.
