Work Experience
I work in the product function at Compiler as the product lead for Cal-ITP Benefits, a software application supporting the California Integrated Travel Project (Cal-ITP).
Served as a member of the product management team responsible for Signant SmartSignals, the suite of products comprising our clinical trial management solution.
Operated as designer and decision-maker on a leadership team that transformed a platform built for healthcare into a fit-for-purpose solution for clinical trials.
Acquired by Signant Health in December 2020 within twelve months of launch.
Served as the product design lead creating solutions for a highly-configurable, white-label enterprise healthcare application to deliver remote care. At its core, the service was a "care platform" using real-time communications technology, primarily in the form of video encounters, paired with scheduling and eCommerce.
Acquired by VirTrial, a Kinderhook Industries company in Oct 2019.
Redesigned and optimized hundreds of responsive web views for all device breakpoints for a white-label enterprise healthcare application utilized by clinicians and administrators to conduct and manage telemedicine visits with patients. Established the beginnings of a design system and design process.
Designed cross-platform, consumer mobile applications focused on messaging and real-time communication. Touched all aspects of our digital products—from alpha to production—by defining user outcomes, overall app structure, interactions, and visual design.
Taught an intermediate and advanced digital imaging course (GRFX 220/221) in the Graphic Communications department.
Educated students in 2D design principles, technology literacy, artful thinking, and essential skills in Adobe Creative Suite at one of the top public high schools in California.

Presented several working iterations of the design of my personal mark for group critique at ArtCenter's Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography.
Presented my work as the first in-house designer at SnapMD. Talk included an overview of the product, my approach to establishing a reusable component library, and our design tooling.
