Numo ADHD

00. Context. What is Numo?

Numo (ex-Mindist) is a Ukrainian startup that creates apps for people with ADHD. The Flagman app is Numo ADHD, also there’re White Noise, Kawaii Tasks etc.I worked on NUMO ADHD – app for tasks gamification & support. Bite-size educational content with memes. Social and ADHD-friendly to-do.

01. Constant research

User Research

I interviewed users across various app usage stages, from introductory discussions to churn-related calls. Additionally, I spent several days initially handling support tickets.

Competitors analysis, direct and not

Analyzing other (mostly boring) ADHD apps and services, productivity, well-being and just gamified apps.

Topic immersion

Exploring how the ADHD brain functions, embracing neurodiversity, investigating gamification, and researching tactics and strategies for managing ADHD symptoms

02. Selected features and flows

Friend Invitation

Numo believed in user support and teamwork. I created a fun invite system for new users and to group existing ones into Squads (small groups of users).

Task creation

Even though users want more task features, our analytics show they mostly just 'brain dump'. So, I'm spicing up the features while keeping things simple, hiding the tricky stuff under the hood.

Focus Mode

I've connected tasks directly to the 'Focus Mode' screen to better assist users. Check out the reworked version!

Learning stories rework

I revamped the UI by creating fresh backgrounds, adjusting color themes and typography. Plus, I introduced the new NeuroReading feature.

Streaks rework

I created a streaks-sharing feature and developed a part of the new guided tour that explains how streaks function.

03. User Acquisition adventure, 40% growth

I revamped the web funnel, attracting users from Facebook ads. In the new version, I experimented with the quiz rhythm and added more social proofs like charts, user stories, and a countdown. And generate a lot in Midjourney πŸ™ƒ

After three A/B tests, web funnel CR to trial increased by 37% (3.75% β†’ 5.16%).
