Work Experience

2020 — 2023
San Francisco

At Magic, I played a pivotal role in enhancing the brand's identity and image through various initiatives. This included creating web pages, original illustrations, social media content, and digital/print ads. I also oversaw the design of branded apparel and event decor, established branding guidelines, and crafted brand strategies.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Product, and Engineering, I provided creative guidance, feedback, and support to ensure alignment with brand objectives and consistency across all touchpoints.

2019 — 2020
San Francisco

Earlier, I worked on a project to improve the branding of Fortmatic, which later became Magic. My main goal was to refine the color palette, theme, and typeface to create a consistent and harmonious visual identity.
In addition, I created a user-friendly website that effectively presents their products and services.

• Rebranded the initial appearance of Fortmatic and Magic brands, determining their color scheme, mood board, typography, and brand guidelines.
• Developed websites.

2018 — 2020
San Francisco

During my tenure at 2nd Address, I spearheaded the rebranding initiative, ensuring consistency in the company's visual identity across all platforms. This involved designing desktop and mobile websites, developing marketing strategies, crafting a comprehensive stationery suite, and creating promotional items and event banners to enhance brand presence.

2018 — 2018
Visual Designer at Roofstock
Oakland

At Roofstock, an online marketplace for investing in leased single-family rental homes, I led various initiatives despite a short tenure. I spearheaded brand marketing efforts, revamped visual communication through icons and illustrations, crafted impactful B2B decks, and designed new landing pages for marketing. These endeavors significantly enhanced brand recognition, drove user engagement, and attracted investors, ultimately fueling company growth.

2018 — 2018
San Francisco

As part of my role, I contributed to the development of UI/UX designs for Orchid's platform, which includes an onion routing network incentivized by OXT and a multi-hop VPN client. Specifically, I focused on crafting designs for their desktop and mobile dashboards, with a particular emphasis on the iOS Beta version.

2017 — 2018
San Francisco

I had a great opportunity to design a set of exquisite icon designs representing fasteners, such as nuts and bolts, specifically for the filter feature on Amazon.com. These icons were meticulously crafted to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience. With these visual indicators, customers can effortlessly navigate and refine their search results, saving valuable time and effort. The elegant yet intuitive design of these icons adds an aesthetic appeal while enhancing the overall usability of the platform.

2017 — 2017
New York

During my internship, I took a proactive role in devising and implementing a more user-friendly process, leveraging intuitive interfaces, recognizable icons, micro-interactions, and illustrative elements to facilitate the seamless identification of product issues and solutions.

By incorporating these visual aids, I aimed to enhance user engagement and understanding. This multifaceted approach optimized system performance and resulted in a more visually appealing and user-centric communication experience, elevating our overall problem-solving efficiency.
