Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Head of Engineering / CTO to lead our remote development team. This could begin as a part-time role or a full-time role and will be on a contract basis until we find the right fit. The role will allow you to jump into leading engineering teams, creating documentation, getting your hands dirty in code, and building at the fastest pace you ever have at an early-stage hyper-growth startup.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our engineering team offerings and make a significant impact on our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development, with a focus on B2B SaaS products and a passion for building products that people love. The candidate should be a self-starter with a "get things done" attitude, ready to lead and lay the foundation of the engineering organization at Valley.

Being in NYC & willing to work hybrid is required. We will be hiring key team members in NYC moving forward. The engineering team is remote but working EST hours.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a founding engineer, CTO, or Head of Engineering

• Familiarity with AI and ML technologies (listed above)

• Experience in a high-growth venture-backed B2B SaaS company

• Strong understanding and appreciation of design principles and the impact of good design.

• Proven ability to ruthlessly prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
