We want to make education and work more efficient and enjoyable, by providing the best digital paper solution possible. We plan to be the go-to tool for all forms of notes.

What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 7 product designers, 1 UX researcher, and 1 DesignOps

• Partner with management, engineers, and product managers to align on design initiatives, define a rolling roadmap and long-term direction

• Work with designers across teams to define problems, support research, prototyping, and delivery over 6-week cycles (made of 3 x 2-week sprints)

• Help foster our design culture with knowledge-sharing, peer support, leading weekly Design Review, and during informal hang-outs (we meet weekly for a “Designer Aligner”)

• Run the function’s performance reviews and salary reviews

Preferred requirements

• Experience managing a remote team in a scale-up environment with millions of users

• Driven to help companies elevate design maturity

• A great storyteller comfortable explaining rationale and getting buy-in from stakeholders on product vision

• Designed public-facing apps that have gotten love letters from users

• A strong understanding and experience in product design from exploration to launch and beyond
