As a Product Designer at Artificial, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including:

  1. Design system creation & maintenance: You will be responsible for shaping a design system based on TailwindUI, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across our products.

  2. Exploring new technologies: You will have the chance to work with cutting-edge AI features, helping shape the future of Insurtech by integrating advanced technologies into our product design.

  3. Championing the user's voice: As a Product Designer, you'll be an advocate for the user, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in day-to-day feature development and decision-making processes.

  4. Marketing design & website contribution: Opportunities may arise to contribute to our marketing design and website, giving you the chance to showcase your versatility and creativity if you so wish.

In the first 3 months at Artificial, you’ll:

  • Learn the ins and outs of Artificial and the customers it serves.

  • Help us wrangle our Figma design system to ensure we can continue to build in a careful, considered manner.

  • Spot issues and proactively start to fix the sharper edges of our product.

  • Contribute, on your own, to the design of at least one large new feature of the product.

Requirements

  • Has exceptional attention to detail and a great sense of visual taste.

  • Can deeply immerse themselves in a problem and understand it thoroughly.

  • Thinks long-term while addressing short-term needs.

  • Is pragmatic and adaptable to change.

  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in Figma.

  • Has contributed to or built a design system.

  • Has experience working remotely (if applicable).

  • Has experience leading or participating in user interviews and user acceptance testing.

  • Must provide some form of portfolio to be considered.

  • Must be a self-starter, and can be left alone to contribute to the product in meaningful ways.

Nice-to-haves

  • Coding ability (candidates with coding skills will be prioritised).

  • Experience in B2B SaaS.

  • Background in Insurance, Finance, or Data visualisation.

  • You have experience with TailwindCSS, or TailwindUI.

  • Experience in branding or marketing design.
