Mr Puppet was invented at Thinko Animation Studio as a method to hyper accelerate the production process. With our capture system we were able to develop shows at unprecedented speed.
Using a simplified, real time performance capture enabled improvisation which was previously impossible in a traditional animation pipeline.
The system is composed of a hardware glove, and supporting software for the Mac.
