Projects

2022

"The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates and a monthly salary" Nassim Taleb.
Yet, employees need to track their salaries. HR and people managers need to change them.

2019

What makes a bargain? Is it the cheapest thing? The quality might be bad. Is it the biggest discount? Maybe the price was not right in the beginning.
In my role at Trivago, I joined a team that worked on this problem.

2018

In 2018 I worked on a redesign of the Trivago iOS and Android app.
Used by millions.
As a lead product designer, it was a big and exciting project. It gave me and the team the opportunity to build it from scratch and rethink holistically the product. And flow.

Side Projects

2022

Algorithms fatigue settles in. People are getting unhappier with the type of recommendations from Facebook, Youtube, and even Goodreads.
I believed we arrived at a point in technology where algorithms and AI reached their limit and there's a need for personal and curated content.

2021

I’m on a mission to get rid of popups on the web. It’s too important to leave website designs entirely to marketers and "growth hackers".

I launched a little side project. I give practical tips on how to increase conversion metrics. Sustainably. With design.

2019

The problem I wanted to solve with my app: Allow gamers, that care about items, to quickly check what’s available on that day. On the go. Without starting the gaming console.

Writing

2022

I started a side gig called Conversion Design. I want to help indie hackers and engineers explain the products they are building. Most have great tech and solve painful problems but have a hard time selling them.

2021

How to stop using website templates mindlessly and start thinking like a designer.

2018

A story how a team ideated and conceptualised a fresh product inside a company.
