Projects

2021

While working with the Fasset team I helped design and conceptualize the MVP version of their crypto wallet. This was an exciting project as it was before "web3" had penetrated the zeitgeist and working in this sector was still mostly uncharted territory.

2021

In the summer of 2021, we started discovery work for what would become GOAT.tax. It is a web app that aims to help businesses apply for the R&D Tax Credit without the need of a specialized accountant. We empowered our users to do this by pairing high level education on the platform with an intuitive and friendly interface.

I led the design of the MVP as well as implementing the front-end components (Elixir Phoenix, TailwindCSS stack). I'm proud of the fact that over the course of 2 years we were able to scale from 0 to thousands of users, gain industry wide praise, and implement many features driven by user feedback.

2020

This was my first engagement with the Fasset team, before they had decided to move into the crypto sector. This product was centered on offering users the ability to exchange Sharia compliant bonds known as Sukuk's.

2020

Beginning in the winter of 2020, I worked on the team that implemented the redesign and unification of Angi (previously Angie's List/Homeadvisor).

During my time with the Angi team, I helped transition the web app from a custom internal React framework to Next.js. I also helped rewrite and create new components to bolster their new internal design system.
