Contact is the the place to find and book diverse creative talent, home to thousands of models, photographers, and hair and make-up artists. Backed by Founders Fund, Sweet Capitol, Rhino VC and Riverside Ventures. I helped us launch and grow across verticals.
I joined Contact in the summer of 2020 when the team consisted of just a handful of people with around 100 completed jobs. Over the next 2.5 years, we expanded to nearly 40 team members, and I played a key role in helping the platform grow to thousands of creatives and 3,000 commercial projects.
During this time, I took ownership of brand strategy, community management, performance marketing, social media management, product strategy, and product marketing, as well as management, hiring and company strategy.
It was a truly delightful and unique experience where I experienced building a technology start-up, raising £4M, winning Best British Upstart from GBx San Fransisco, and developing in every area of a marketing team at an intense rate.
Contact's client list includes Nike, ASOS, Harrods, Vivienne Westwood, ASOS, DR Martens, Burberry, Jaded London, Zara, Flannels, Converse, Depop, GANNI, Vogue, JD Sports, Urban Outfitters, Balenziaga, Farfetch, Adidas, and Vogue.
I'm most proud that in my time at Contact I helped the team generate £1M+ revenue for creatives, commission free. Not only positioning Contact as a platform, not an agency, but proving the value of our forward thinking model.
