Initiated and led the Design System team, created a new product as part of the Growth team and converted everything and everyone to TypeScript. I also enjoyed working on software architecture in the frontend codebase.

I brought the freshly founded company Neue Narrative into the internet by building the frontend and backend as the first technical person in the team.

Neue Narrative became quite successful, growing significantly and scaling to tens of thousands of customers a couple years later.

Worked mainly on a web app with React and Redux and a PHP website with Kirby CMS. I implemented TypeScript into our codebase.

Berlin, Germany

Took ownership over the QA process. I’ve set up automated unit- and e2e-testing and improved the reviewing and deployment processes.

Berlin, Germany

Worked on digitalising production line reports for products (giant machines for power plants) built in the Siemens factories. I tested the system and reported statistics about appearance and distribution of issues, wrote an export tool for the reports so they could be archived.

Started as a hobby and developed into commercial photo shoots in the fashion industry on location or in the studio, working with art directors, make up artists, etc. I focused on the technical side of photography.

Volunteering

2017 — 2017
Berlin, Germany

Built the FT17 race car as part of the Suspension and Frame team. This included prototyping with 3D printers, manufacturing carbon fiber and steel parts, car assembly and producing plots. The FT17 won several prizes.

Erlangen, Germany and Berlin, Germany

Developed a new design system and led a project team for designing and distributing a calendar notebook for students. I also represented bonding at meetings with partner organisations within Europe.

Erlangen, Germany

Helped producing prototypes of a crash nose for a race car: manufacturing of carbon fiber parts, executing crash tests and optimising the form.
