Context: Background and Objectives Corporate giving is an essential part of philanthropy, contributing a staggering $24.8 billion to charities in 2020 alone. Recently, roles like Corporate Social Responsibility Officer and Head of Environmental Social Governance have emerged, promoting employee engagement in social impact. In response to this growing field, our team aimed to create an all-in-one software to help these leaders track and enhance employee participation.
Struggle: Challenges and Approach Our biggest obstacle was the low rate of employee participation and the struggle to act on scattered and ineffective data. Administrators needed a simpler way to understand employee engagement trends and create impactful initiatives. Our team tackled these challenges head-on, focusing on developing an easy-to-use dashboard for administrators. This empowered them to create engagement campaigns aligned with company goals, interpret actionable data, and offer educational opportunities through webinars and email campaigns.
Transformation: Learnings and Results The simplicity of our software was well-received, especially the straightforward analytics and the visibility of potential engagement indicators such as workshop attendance. The results were positive: we successfully launched and renewed our contract, resulting in over $90k in stock donations. The average stock donation value per donor rose to $1k, and we observed a remarkable 50% increase in employee participation quarter-over-quarter.
