I am Dan Doan.
I am a Seattle native and graduate of the University of Washington.
I spend most of my free time lifting heavy weights, searching for cheap flights, and warming up my vocal cords for karaoke at sketchy dive bars.

Enabling everyone to create for the web.
Designing tools for for user accounts and Ecommerce based websites.
Building a platform to modernize customer communications and payments for small businesses.
Led product design for campaigns and website leads.
Helping users do more with their data. Designed experiences centered around AI, analytics, and admin tools for enterprise users of Power BI.
Expertise in strategy and envisioning for nascent platforms (5–10 years out) as well as traditional product shipping cadences (5–10 weeks out).

Design contributions to projects for clients including Bloomberg, Amgen, and OutKast (yeah, the rappers).
Projects
Education
Spent five years working on a four year degree. Non-design studies included two quarters of Java programming, five quarters of calculus, and six weeks abroad in Rome, Italy.

Ate at 3 Jack's BBQs in 1 day: Colombia Tower ➡️ SLU ➡️ SODO.
