NFT Sensei is a suite of tools that identifies and snipes NFTs that are in profitable trading opportunities. The platform leverages custom bots, analytics and integrations with other tools.
NFT Sensei’s founding team wanted to deliver a a suite of tools that would help NFT traders dominate the NFT market. Their vision was to build something that was faster than any tool and could seamlessly combine multiple features into one experience.
Challenge
Increasingly, many traders rely on bots to buy NFTs quickly enough (known as ‘sniping’), before flipping for profit. Many NFT tools already existed in the market, but were overpromising features and under delivering. NFT Sensei engaged lowercase to work as a partner in developing a brand identity that would communicate the brand’s mission and promise. lowercase helped NFT Sensei to massage out their vision for the brand — fast, transparent and high tech.
Solution
With a focus on these brand values, the team worked closely with the founding team to help develop the branding strategy. In particularly, we worked closely with their marketer to collaborate on the copy.
Throughout the website, sharp edges, thin lines and lightning was used to convey speed, while red and black became the brand’s main colours — energetic and no-bullshit. To cement NFTSensei as a helpful platform for learning about trading, the motif of a Dojo was used to represent immersive learning and levelling up. This was reinforced with other Japanese motifs like swords and ninja stores used throughout hype videos and Discord marketing materials, which also helped instil excitement.
Two different typography was used, Orbitron for headings and Barlow for the body. We wanted to link back to NFT Sensei’s superior technical precision over other tools, so we chose Orbitron that had a robotic feel to it. Barlow was chosen due to ease of readability and simplicity, which would be the main font in the actual tooling to help users easily navigate within the tool.
The logo was developed in close collaboration with NFT Sensei. We reflected on what NFT Sensei would mean to its customers and we kept looping back to an eye symbol. Someone that watched over you as you learnt the basics of trading. Something that overlooked the NFT market to help you make informed decision. But most importantly, it represented trust, moral conscience and transparency — NFT Sensei wouldn’t underpromise, and it wouldn’t rug pull.
NFT Sensei minted out on OpenSeas within a few hours, with many especially commending the smoothness and transparency of the minting process’s UX.
