Projects
Since 2020, we've been DJing at various venues and events across Italy and Europe. Highlights include the opening of Salone del Mobile in Milan with Anna Molly and Dirty Channels, a radio show for Hotel Radio in Paris, a summer party in Puglia with Gabrielle Kwatreng, and an opening set for Interstellar Funk at a festival.
We regularly DJ at Radio Raheem and Linea in Milan, as well as Le Discobar in Paris, and we curate the sound for fashion events and parties during fashion weeks.
Our first edit! 'Thuany’ is a feel-good tune from Congolese guitarist Maïka Munan, to which we’ve given a more dancefloor-friendly lift.
From a dusty CD and DVD shop in Paris that was about to close down, to a rushed sale on Discogs, and a posthumous epiphany of a hidden gem in an overlooked album. Thank god we ripped this one. 100% dancefloor filler.
Summer t-shirts = fun. We created a sea-inspired tee for those good times at the beach bar with friends, complete with a compass on the back so you never lose your way in the fashion sea.
We partnered with Rotondo Festival in Senigallia, where we designed a special t-shirt for the event and capped off the third day with a sunset DJ set.
We curated the music and we designed a t-shirt for the launch of Eat Wasted at Sidewalk Kitchens in Milan.
The idea behind the t-shirt originated from an ironic quote about making one of the most traditional Italian foods—namely pasta—from an unconventional input: food waste. The design humorously incorporates vernacular elements commonly associated with the identity of traditional Italian pastificio, creating a juxtaposition between the forward-thinking vision of founders Leif and Jorge and the heritage that such a product naturally embodies.
"After their DJ set at STXDYOZ’s fashion week kick-off aperitivo, we catched up with Bar Disco – Francesco Daprile and Francesco Lindo – the DJ and graphic design duo that redefines and resemanticizes Italian-ness. In this interview, they delve into their Italian disco roots, talking about their inspiration drawn from the popular aesthetics of Italian bars, their “graphic bootleg” approach, their journey through Milan’s creative landscape, and much more."

For the launch of Fotomerenda, a podcast produced by Milan-based photography collective Quadronno District and Tony Giorgino, Bar Disco designed a custom napkin featuring a mascotte and bespoke typography, adding a twist to the iconic Bar Quadronno aesthetic.
We took charge of the music and graphics for Eat Wasted's "1 Year of Trash" event in Copenhagen, celebrating a year of turning bread waste into pasta. 1,000 people packed the skate bowl where we pulled off an all-nighter—easily one of the best crowds we've ever had!
The ultimate aperitivo uniform—fresh for summer, hot for winter. This is our second self-released t-shirt, and it’s a tribute to our city, Milano.
Openly loved by many, secretly admired by a few—people went bollocks for this one. If you're one of the lucky ones who snagged one t-shirt with the infamous name, hold onto it tight.
