Ornio AS is a small studio that designs and builds digital products, brands, and websites for startups and enterprises worldwide. In June 2016, I joined Ornio as Lead Designer. Since then, I have been responsible for the design direction of our projects, ensuring that our clients receive visually stunning and user-friendly solutions that align with their unique visions and goals.
Project Overview
In late 2020, Ornio underwent its most significant rebrand, marking a new marketing focus. We aimed to attract bigger, more technologically complex clients and recognized the need for a brand that aligned with our ambitious plans for the future. I was tasked with creating a bold new identity and designing a website that would not only draw in more prospects but also enhance our search rankings, all while reflecting the new brand's aesthetic.
Brand Stationery
Brand stationery was an essential step in solidifying the new brand identity. It might seem unnecessary in our digital world, but it definitely makes a difference to help advance the brand’s profile and leave a lasting impression on clients, partners, and team members.
Brand Merchandise
To further strengthen the presence of the newly revamped Ornio brand, we explored the creation of branded merchandise for our team members, friends and clients as a tool for building stronger relationships and increasing brand recognition in the industry.
Visual Language
To convey Ornio's message effectively, we integrated distinctive colors, icons, typography, and design elements into the brand's visual language, which were consistently applied in marketing materials and on the website.
Brand Support
The rebrand touched every aspect of our company, which means we also worked on updating email templates and signatures, social media templates, and dozens of other assets.
Sitemap
The development of a successful website begins with a well-structured sitemap. We recognized the importance of an organized sitemap and created the foundation of an intuitive and user-friendly web experience.
Website
Once the rebrand was done, it was time to apply it to a new website design. A website is such an important touchpoint and frequently a client's first experience with the brand. So, our aim was to streamline the website's layouts, allowing the content – the services, projects, and the exceptional team – to take center stage.
The goal was to have a website that demonstrates all of the core services of the company. Also, to showcase the projects done for different clients internationally.
Responsive view
There’s no way around it – having a mobile-friendly website is a must. The entire website that’s available on the desktop has been perfectly designed to work on any mobile device.
Results
Since the redesign, we've noticed a marked improvement in our analytics. The time on the page increased significantly and we've gained significantly more conversions on our website. The feedback we've received from clients and partners has been overwhelmingly positive. Many partners have commented that our new brand and website make us look like an agency.
