Work Experience
• Produced and lead development of companies first MVP of recruitment tool to help recruiters source candidates, lead to recruitment of 3 senior software engineers in 1 weekend.
• Leading a team of 3 others including sales + operations, product design, and a software engineer allowing us to build company’s first product iteration.
• Overhauled companies’ public facing site, working with designers to champion user experience and accessibility, resulting in a 70% improvement in accessibility and performance score on Google lighthouse.
• Presented new innovative internal marketing projects to increase brand awareness including SyneIcons (internal icons tool for designers), an internal creative coding team to focus attention on Synechron at marketing events, and new systems to present key abstract design deliverables saving company £20,000.
• Trained interns and advised colleagues on frontend development.
• Building the companies mobile application (built to scale to 10,000 users), an audio based mental health social media app in React Native, Expo, Jest, Figma, GitHub (Husky), Prisma ORM, Postgresql, Python, and AWS.
• Remodeled ISBNdb API errors to conform to a few standard messages through analysis, and Sentry; this enabled faster development of the book-scanning feature for the Haru app as we no longer needed to sift through tedious, varied, and seemingly arbitrary random messages which caused UI bugs to occur.
• Overhauled a new landing site from design to production with feedback of stakeholders including our CoFounders, CTO, Marketing Department, and Commercial Director. This work improved the Lighthouse
performance score from the low 40s to a 99.
