Work Experience
Expanded the newly redesigned brand to establish a cohesive digital presence. Building brand awareness through social media and blog graphics, reviewing and polishing the main site’s content and visual design, and designing additional mini-sites.
Led the creation of a design documentation process, including design briefs and design request templates, to ease collaboration with other teams and the newly formed design team.
Web Designer for the university’s marketing department, with the goal to unify our web presence and create a seamless user experience.
Spearheaded the initiative to develop a comprehensive Design System for the university. Its goal is to guide the creation and evolution of a cohesive, accessible, user-friendly web experience by creating resources to empower teams across the organization to build their own content and maintain our brand throughout.
Using the new and evolving system, I redesigned key pages of the site, designed targeted campaign websites in a short time frame, and helped other departments with their micro-sites.
Print and Multimedia designer handling a variety of projects, small and large. Projects include production work, print layout design, website design, trade show booth graphics, email campaigns, packaging, social media campaigns, and digital ads.
Aided in leading the efforts to transform from a branding agency into a modern web design-focused agency. Approached this by staying current with best design and development practices to educate the team and build processes to sell, plan, design, prototype, develop, and launch web projects for our clients. At the same time, continued to serve our current clients in a variety of print, branding, social media, and digital marketing projects.
Side Projects
An AIGA multi-chapter collaboration that held the first annual Hispanic Heritage Talks in 2020. A series of virtual events celebrating the lives, work, and stories of creatives with a Latinx and Hispanic cultural heritage.
Contrastes Relevantes is a one-day conference showcasing six designers' professional and personal life experiences, primarily of Hispanic and Latino origins.
The Hispanic community plays a large part in the culture of San Antonio. As creatives, we represent and elevate our cultures, communities, and the causes we stand for. AIGA San Antonio and Contrastes Relevantes aspire to give the Hispanic creative community a platform to share their experiences to bring together the different cultures and disciplines that drive major change and progress.
