Work Experience

2020 — Now
Psychotherapist at WL Therapy, PLLC
Charlotte, NC

I help couples work through misunderstanding, disconnection, and unhealed wounds. I also supervise therapists working with challenging couples. I am honored to be invited into people's relationships.

2017 — 2020
Charlotte, NC

I worked for 3 years at a private practice that exclusively practiced Couples Therapy. I learned from the best - Dr. Faith Drew and Dr. George Bitar. We studied The Gottman Method, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Discernment Therapy, and were the earliest adopters to Deliberate Practice with Dr. Alex Vaz.

2014 — 2017
Psychotherapy Associate at Uptown Psychotherapy
Charlotte, NC

This was my first job out of grad school, and I spent 3 years learning from a truly amazing trauma therapist, Antoinette Souffrant. I saw many different kinds of clients, and got my sea legs being a therapist. I was especially drawn to clients struggling with anxiety, post-partum anxiety/depression, and infertility.

2014 — 2015
Volunteer/Outreach at Urban Ministry Center
Charlotte, NC

I worked with individuals who struggle with the day to day demands of being homeless, including helping people meet basic needs like laundry, showers, phone use, mail center, and meals, and long term needs including housing, jobs, and health services. I learned that what someone needs, versus what I think they need, can be completely different.
