Work Experience
Leading design work on a project for the CZI Justice & Opportunity Initiative. Motivated by the role technology can have within criminal justice reform — making our country more fair, inclusive, and full of opportunity for everyone.
As a Senior Visual Interaction Designer at IDEO's Design for Learning studio, I worked to develop a more human-centered design practice and creative process. Working across digital products, experience design, storytelling, and creative strategy I support projects in deep and diverse ways. My breadth allowed me to explore how to foster lasting creative confidence within a midwestern community college; to reimagine a world-class healthcare institutions connection to their patients; and to support early learning access for children with special needs across the Middle East and United States
Deepened my design practice and product execution while at Facebook helping to build intentional, thoughtful, and well-crafted experiences for Messenger, Facebook Events, Facebook Creative Labs, Facebook Video Platform, and Facebook's Interface Guidelines. Projects included Messenger.com, Facebook Public Events, Stickered, Feed Video / Channels / Future envisioning, and an extensive overhaul of Facebook Design Guidelines and processes.
