About
Priti is an Information Experience Designer with a keen interest in understanding heritage and culture through evocative, data-enriched interpretations. Informed by research, her trans-disciplinary practice seeks out lesser-explored avenues of inquiry & subjective interpretations of data. She holds a Master’s in Design for Data Visualisation from the University of the Arts, London. In her spare moments, Priti likes going on data walks, making generative art, tinkering around with electronics, and making oddly-shaped books.

Atlas of Intangibles is a data experience designed to highlight the rich, interconnected web of sensory information that lies beneath our everyday encounters. Showcasing sensory data collected by me around the city of London through score-based data walks, the digital experience invites viewers to choose specific themes and explore related data as views — journeys, connections, and typologies. Each data point is rich in context, encompassing images & audio recordings.
An interactive website that archives a curated collection of seats and seating culture in India.
This experience is an extension of essays from the book From the Frugal to the Ornate: Stories of the Seat in India.

Work Experience
I am developing a design system & data visualisation component library for a French analytics startup.
I focused on developing tools & techniques for data visualisation and storytelling. As a small team, we created data comics, incorporated narrative techniques into data visualisations, experimented with data art as a playful approach to
creating personalised mementos, and designed interactive physicalisations to encourage discourse around critical issues.
I was responsible for information architecture, prototyping, designing the interactive visualisation, and setting the design direction for the website with the team.
