I'm a multidisciplinary designer, leading design teams at the intersection of form, function, and delight.
I believe in designs' inherent ability to be transformative, make meaningful connections, and serve both human and business needs, ethically.
My goal is to enable people through design, creating experiences that resonate and provide the opportunity to do good things, whether that's completing a work task, making important life decisions, or changing the world for the better.
Work Experience
Building a design team to make cybersecurity effortless and affordable for every organization.
Established the design practice and grew the product design team 3x, as the company grew from roughly 40 to 350 employees and series C extended funding. Manage and mentor an awesome crew of designers. Partner with leadership peers on strategy, product vision, GTM, and platform/product evolution. Led a full company rebrand, launched in June '22.
Principal designer for Growth on the Experience Design team. Helped establish design systems and an integrated DesignOps team. Partnered closely with Brand, evolving our design language and establishing harmony with Product. Served as a mentor to other designers and as an advocate for Design.
Led a team of multidisciplinary designers + freelancers at Heat, a brand consultancy acquired by Deloitte Digital. The Studio specialized in digital advertising, brand identity, UI/UX design, and new business opportunities. Clients include EA, Twitter, Wild Turkey, Hotwire, Transamerica, and BNP Paribas.
Senior member of the digital studio at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners one of the most respected and awarded agencies ever, working on General Motors' Chevrolet business. Focus areas were CRM marketing, model-year catalog, national brand, and retail.
