About

👋 Hello, there! I create beautiful digital assets for mission-driven organizations, helping them communicate their value to the world.

A lifelong learner, I love tackling creative puzzles, and am always open to collaboration, in-person or remotely. Whether working with pre-existing brand assets or creating entirely new work, I love adapting to new challenges and generating fresh ideas in collaborative environments!

Brand Messaging Guide at Empower The Barrios (Kind Footprint)

Work in progress → Supporting the organization's content creation team members by crafting a visual Brand Messaging Guide for distribution and use by the organization's professional volunteers corp.

2022

This project is a social media campaign designed for Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) Pediatrics Department’s “Teen Health 360” pilot program.

2022

The client for this project was Yolanda Lopez, the owner of an eco-ethical, sustainable chair company, Sit Conmigo. She reached out to me to design a single-page website to showcase her four new mid-century modern-inspired chair designs and allow customers to place pre-orders. Since many of her customers shop from their phones, a mobile site that looked and worked great was an extremely high priority for the project.

As the sole visual designer on this project, I worked closely with Yolanda to understand her goals for the website and implement them into a polished final design.

2022

The project included creating a color scheme, brand typography, logo, icons, thumbnail marks, brand imagery, social media visual guidelines, and a full brand style guide to ensure consistency and inform design choices in the future.

These assets and guidelines will ensure that Bare Bones Coffee has a solid visual foundation from the start, and will allow them to focus their resources on building trust and loyalty with new customers and community.

Everything was organized in a (print-friendly) brand style guide designed in Figma, with an accompanying brand Playbook, to ensure that brand assets are easy to access and share with a variety of project stakeholders or vendors in the future.

2022

A one-page scrollable photography portfolio website for Dorothy Delong, a contemporary intersectional feminist photographer who travels the U.S. documenting the female experience, the fight for women’s rights, and the variety of challenges that women face.

As she and her work have become more visible, she has recognized the need for a professionally branded online presence to market herself to publications and arts venues.

Side Projects

2023

A User-Generated Content post created for the Skillcrush Marketing team’s promotional event, “UI/UX Week.” It was created with Figma and Adobe Photoshop, and published on the Instagram and LinkedIn platforms.

Volunteering

2021 — 2021
New York City/Remote

During the height of the third wave of Covid-19 in 2021, a previously in-person annual volunteer event went 100% virtual, allowing people from all over the world to participate.

I volunteered to work with a remote team tasked with building a WordPress site in 1 day for a biotechnology startup, Glyphic Biotechnologies. I assisted with branding assets & a WordPress style guide created for the organization.
