Gravitics is a developer of aerospace stations designed to form the building blocks for human life in space. The company’s modules utilize next-generation hardware to build space station modules with interfacing options and space armor to bring shipyard-style fabrication to the aerospace industry, enabling clients to execute their outer space missions effectively.
The logo design for Gravitics was developed to consist of a symbol and a logotype that are cohesive, distinctive and suitable for use in a variety of contexts. The symbol is an abstract visual element that represents the concept of rotation and gravity, while the logotype is a futuristic and lightweight typographic treatment of the company’s name. Spacing, cut-outs and a lack of crossbars give the type a unique look that allows it to seamlessly integrate with the other elements of the brand’s visual materials.
ERKA is a German company that produces medical instruments and equipment. They offer a variety of products, including stethoscopes and diagnostic instruments. Their products are used in healthcare settings worldwide.
The Cardio.Dialog logotype was created for Erka’s patient tracking software with the same name. It was designed to fit the style of Erka’s current logo and design language. The arrow in the 'A' represents low blood pressure and points downward to signify a healthy reading. It can also be used as a standalone mark for a range of applications.
Formawerx specializes in making unique keypieces for a selected range of cars. They use their historied expertise in automotive design to study and distill the stories of the cars each keypiece is crafted for.
Their new logotype reflects the swiss percision Formawerx aims to achieve as well as the nature of their manufacturing process. The keys are CNC machined and the ink traps in the type are there to be a reminder of the process. While the shape of the type is overall very sharp, certain areas are softened to achieve a resemblence to the keys’ curves.
The new logomark illustrates the motion of starting your car. It was designed with the intention of fiting in with the symbols and indicators commonly found on a car’s dashboard. The mark is used on its own or as a superscript to the logomark.
Shine Studio used my typeface Sauvage to create the main titles for the HBO show Perry Mason. The main title logo cards, designed in the style of 1930s animation, were incorporated into the scene using rotoscoping and 3D tracking. This makes them stand out on screen, similar to titles from Hollywood’s golden era. The intertwining of the type with the action on screen makes the treatment unique and memorable.
The Perry Mason main titles have won the Type Directors Club Judges’ Choice Award.
