Work Experience

2021 — Now
Minneapolis, Minnesota

Since joining Valari Solutions as a UX/UI Designer in 2021, I have been able to put my knowledge and skills into a deeper practice. Over the course of the year, I have had the opportunity to grow as a designer.

In 2022, I was promoted to UX/UI Lead Designer and took on a leadership role in overseeing the design process. In this position, I collaborate with team members to ensure that designs meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. I have also expanded my knowledge of the organization, design systems, and dev handoff, learning to implement best practices to streamline the design process and ensure effective communication with developers.

2019 — Now
Remote

Since 2019, I have been working as a freelance UX/UI Designer, where I have gained valuable experience in designing user-friendly interfaces, conducting UX research, and creating UI designs that meet client requirements.

As a freelance UX/UI Designer, I manage my own projects and clients, handling the design process from start to finish. I have learned to effectively communicate with clients to understand their design needs and requirements, and I work collaboratively with them to ensure that designs meet their expectations.

During this time, I have also expanded my skill set in UX/UI design software, including Adobe XD and Figma (the last one is my favorite lol), and I have gained experience in prototyping and creating illustrations that complement the user interface.

2019 — 2020
Montevideo, Uruguay

From 2019 to 2020, I worked as a UX/UI Designer at Código del Sur, where I gained valuable experience in designing interfaces, conducting research, and creating UI designs.

As a UX/UI Designer, I was responsible for designing interfaces that were user-friendly and visually appealing. I conducted user research to understand user needs and preferences and used this information to create designs that met user requirements while also adhering to design principles and standards.

In addition to my work in UX/UI design, I also had the opportunity to apply my illustration skills, creating visual designs that complemented the user interface.

2019 — 2019
Santiago, Chile

In 2019, while living in Chile, I worked at Sublimalo as a Sublimation Asset Creator. My primary responsibility was preparing assets for sublimation, ensuring they were optimized for production.

As the sublimation asset creator, I designed and prepared artwork for sublimation printing, ensuring that it was high quality and ready for production. I collaborated with clients to understand their design requirements and provide designs that met their needs while also adhering to production standards and deadlines.

In addition to my role in sublimation asset creation, I created engaging content and design graphics that were consistent with the company's brand image, helping to increase engagement and reach across social media platforms.

2018 — 2019
Valencia, Venezuela

As a graphic designer and illustrator at SaturnTeam from 2018-2019, I gained valuable experience in a variety of design tasks. During my time there, I was responsible for creating logos, designing branding materials, managing social media accounts, creating videos, and developing animations.

One of my key responsibilities was designing logos for clients. I took their vision and created unique designs that captured their brand identity. I also worked on branding materials such as business cards, brochures, and letterheads, ensuring consistency and cohesion throughout all materials.
