About
Hello, my name is Mariana! I’m a multidisciplinary designer and lettering artist with a focus on visual identity and digital products. Born and now-based in Lisbon after living in Barcelona for 7 years. Background in graphic design with a focus on digital design. Able to take ideas from concept to wireframe to prototype to production.
Work Experience
At North I worked as part of the CUPRA client team. I designed new mobile app features like remote control of heating, ventilation, battery charging, and vehicle lock/unlock. I enhanced the design system by introducing variables and variants. Additionally, I contributed to in-vehicle app innovations, developing gaming solutions and alternative routes to improve the user experience. Later, I joined the mobile app innovation team, integrating modern design trends to create a more user-friendly experience.
At Elma, I led key initiatives that improved product quality and user experience. I conducted user interviews to align our product with customer needs, developed a design system and brand identity from scratch, and enhanced our online presence with a new website and product landing pages. I also collaborated with the development team to launch features like booking consultations and doctor chat, and worked with the design team to improve internal platforms, increasing operational efficiency.
