Writing
During my leisure time, I enjoy revisiting my thesis and capturing stories about my grandfather's hometown in North Korea. I am currently publishing these stories on a Korean writing platform, Brunch.
Awards
Not architecture-related, but my first-ever national prize that sparked my passion in handmade creation. Achieved a 1min 43sec flight using the self-generated wind force from a wound rubber band attached to the aircraft.
Work Experience
Assisted the team in providing consultation for custom-designed facade systems
Developed design studies for the MIT Metropolitan Storage Warehouse renovation project
Researched co-parenting residences, interviewed end users, and analyzed pain points to develop a concept proposal for MGRV's co-parenting residence.
Created design proposals for interior design projects (LG Display Paju OLED plant, Shinsegae International)
Generated refurbishment proposals for dilapidated facilities in the university campus
Volunteering
Assisted in repairing four low-income family homes in Seoul's Yangcheon district. (Dismantling, wall-covering, and vinyl flooring)
