About

Travis Platt is the dynamic Founder / Visionary of Whiskey Crawler Creative, LLC, a boutique branding agency that thrives on building brands through emotional connections. With a blend of "delusional optimism" and unshakable mettle, Travis has carved out a unique space in the branding world, driven by his love of design and personal mission to reshape society's perception of people with disabilities.

Growing up in an environment where his disability was neither acknowledged nor defined him, Travis learned early on that true strength lies in embracing one's uniqueness. This philosophy has fueled his ambition to live life as loudly and authentically as possible, challenging stereotypes and inspiring others to see beyond physical limitations.

Travis leads with a vision that goes beyond traditional branding. He seeks to create ripples of change, showcasing that people with disabilities possess personalities, interests, dreams, and even a sense of humor. His work is a testament to the belief that our differences, when viewed without judgment, can unite us and paint a richer, more diverse picture of humanity.

Travis's journey is not just about business success; it's about sparking a societal shift. Through his agency and personal brand, he aims to demonstrate that people with disabilities are capable of extraordinary achievements and deserve to be seen for who they truly are.

Writing

2024

I attempted to break my social media silence. I started on X. I have the most engaged followers on X; however, ironically, most of them I do not know in real life. There are very few people here locally who follow me, so it is almost a safe Haven for me to be me or two and test my brand with diverse followers.

I have spent so many of the sleepless hours this year on X Learning Framer, meeting some really cool individuals and amazing artists, so it made sense that my X followers deserved to hear everything first.

I wrote this at the end of a particularly hard night.

2018

This was a pivotal time in my life. I was forced to choose one path over the other. Up until then, the logical path forward was almost self-identifying.

At this point, I had to decide how far I needed to tear my life down in order to build it back up as a foundation for where I wanted my life to go.

Destroying everything you've based your identity on is scary, but doing nothing and continuing to live a life that you are a Shell of a human is absolutely terrifying.
