Support Central Design Operations, including Design Systems, Illustration, and Inclusive Design, by providing high-visibility project and program coordination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage design operations from concept to execution, including project intake, scoping, resourcing, progress tracking, and project delivery. Served as Lyft’s first Design Program Manager Associate before a promotion to Design Program Manager - IC4.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
Coordinated 30+ interdisciplinary feedback interviews of cross-functional teams for a complex In-App Marketing Messaging project, utilizing insights for team alignment on best practices across Brand, Product, and Marketing.
Scoped projects for a team of 25 people across Product, Marketing, Brand, and Design for Lyft’s first ever product bundle release, reaching 22M+ riders across the United States.
Iterated on the end-to-end design operations for the Illustration team to increase team bandwidth and establish foundational guidelines after two company-wide reductions in workforce.
Defined and maintained rituals and routines for Lyft’s first internal Accessibility and Inclusive Design Specialist, providing 100+ designers in-depth accessibility guidance and a greater sense of community.
Served as co-driver on 3 high-priority Product Design OKRs - Prototyping, New Employee Onboarding, and Team Culture - by coordinating 20+ internal and external interviews, auditing internal and external resources, and presenting actionable insights to design leadership.
Participated in the interview, selection, and onboarding process for 3 design roles, including Inclusive Design Specialist, Illustrator, and Motion Designer.
Provided support for the annual Sparks Design Conference by coaching and managing speakers, assisting in presentation and content production, and owning programming for virtual events to accommodate hybrid workforce.
Participated in Lyft’s PD+ Inclusion and Diversity Council, supporting multiple work streams such as shaping the council’s Community Agreements and developing closer partnerships with the Employee Resource Groups.
Drove the content and direction for the multimedia Lyft UX Associate Program (LUX-AP) capstone project, resulting in a well-received internal Lyft Autocomplete video and an article promoted by third-party newsletters.
Received peer acknowledgement through Lyft’s Seen Award, a monthly Product Design-focused award for two employees who go above and beyond for their teams.
Increased the authenticity and value of the Seen Awards brand by managing newly updated award badges, developing special content for presentations, and improving the nomination and voting process.
Oversee company-wide Figma account management and utilize multiple collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Coda, Slack, Jira, Maze, Notably.ai, and Otter.
Conducted market research, developed storylines, delivered external communications, and initiated community growth and outreach for the world's first democratized content incubator, powered by NFTs from legendary creators.
