You are a strong & proactive communications expert, who enjoys understanding people’s challenges, and takes great satisfaction in helping tackle them. Your experience with community engagement enables you to create compelling content, host events, and provide support that enhance both the developer and commercial customer experience. You are product-minded and will act as a bridge between the tldraw community and the product/engineering teams, ensuring continuous improvement of tldraw's features, resources, and tools based on community insights.

tldraw is a London-based startup that creates software for infinite canvas applications. Its commercial product is a software development kit (tldraw.dev) that customers use to integrate tldraw’s canvas technology in other software products. Its flagship product (tldraw.com) is a popular zero-friction collaborative whiteboard. Its community is on Twitter/X, Discord, and Github.
You will
-
Develop and own a comprehensive communication, management, and growth strategy for the tldraw communities (using both the free and paid products)

Be the expert on how we present tldraw’s products to different types of users at different stages - including release notes, updates for customers, etc.

Manage and grow tldraw’s presence and increase community engagement on X, Discord, and GitHub

Organize and host virtual events such as webinars, workshops, and Q&A sessions, as well as in-person events for the tldraw community

Create content that represents tldraw’s products to the community, partnering with business teams to demonstrate our unique capabilities

Identify and establish partnerships with relevant organizations and influencers

Gather and analyze community feedback and insights to inform product development and roadmap, and improve the overall developer and customers experience

Actively participate in community discussions, providing personalized support as necessary to maintain high levels of developer and customer engagement
Profile
-
4+ years experience as a Community Manager, Developer Relations or similar role in the B2B developer tools/infrastructure space. Technical background is a plus

Based in London

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex information in a clear, approachable, and supportive manner

Strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and community platforms
