Introduce us to your team

After spending 5+ years as a founding product designer at companies like Universe, [untitled] and Typo, dpark started an independent design practice with the thesis of building products from first-principles.

Our studio isn't a traditional agency where companies hire to execute on a product brief or document. We're design partners who are deeply embedded into the process. We are fractional design founders without the risk.

You pull us in when you need experienced operators who get the job done and accelerate your business.

Our secret: vision building, craft execution, and novel interactions

What does your team's product development process look like?

Our process looks a lot like a tennis rally. In a tennis rally, you want a rally partner who can go back and forth with you in a way that is both challenging and fun. To start, you hit the ball over with your dreams, requirements, and vision. Then we'll return a deliverable in the form of a figma, prototype, or slide deck to inspire you to hit the ball back for another rally. This is typically done in a 1-2 week trial.

Practically, our skillset is in creative thinking and vision execution. Our main goal is to inspire you so that your product/company has enough acceleration to take you to the next phase.

We communicate frequently and share demos to look at. At the end of the day, we're here as your trusted thought partner to inspire you and to nudge you forward – however that might look like.

What advice would you give to people who want to join your team?

We are not currently hiring for full time roles, but are always looking for collaborators in the short term. Throughout the years, I've found that design is not just about executing on pixels, it's about the approach in which you understand and tell stories.

Before reaching out, think about what your favorite non-electronic physical product is and why.
