**About the role**

Scribe is hiring a Lead Brand Designer to scale and evolve our brand. Design excellence is a core pillar of what Scribe means to our team and our users. As such, we’re looking for someone with great attention to detail and great storytelling abilities. This role will work closely with partners across Marketing, Product, People Ops, and will report to the VP of Design.

**Examples of what you could do**

* Concept and execute campaigns with Marketing and Product

* Upgrade Scribe’s brand systems, including voice and tone and visual systems

* Evolve Scribe’s website to further enhance our value proposition and positioning

**You will…**

* Own and extend Scribe’s brand guidelines and visual systems, including layouts, typography, color palettes, and other visual components.

* Work on design projects that empower our Go-To-Market and customer experience motions.

* Work closely with the marketing team to create amazing campaigns across a variety of channels and give everyone who interacts with Scribe an unforgettable brand experience.

* Occasionally manage vendors to expand on creative such as motion design, illustration, animation, etc.

**Required skills and experience**

* 6+ years of experience in brand design with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, branding, and web experiences

* Have good taste with the ability to articulate it in a scalable system that is objective and clear

* Experience creating and maintaining a brand visual system

* Proficient in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

* Experience leading complex design projects, including collaborating with cross-functional teams

* Strong communication skills and ability to present and articulate design concepts and ideas

**Bonus Points**

* Experience building and editing sites in Webflow

* Experience or interest designing for products with active communities

**Compensation**

140k-160k USD base + equity

**About the role**

Scribe is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team and broaden Scribe’s core product and user experience. Design excellence is a core pillar of what Scribe means to our team and our users. We require someone with a sharp eye for detail, advanced interface design abilities, and knowledge of user-centered design principles. This role will mainly collaborate with our Product team, with additional opportunities to work with Marketing. This role will report to the VP of Design. 

**Responsibilities**

* Create detailed, pixel-perfect mockups and design new product features.

* Extend and work within our design system, Stylus.

* Interact with users to understand their needs, expectations, and goals.

* Work closely with engineers to implement your designs and understand technical constraints.

* Determine key milestones and provide updates and check-ins to relevant teams and partners.

* Both receive and provide design feedback amongst the design team.

**Requirements**

* A strong portfolio showcasing your work in high fidelity.

* 5+ years experience working in product design, ideally for a SaaS product company.

* A keen eye for details and sweating the small stuff to create pixel-perfect interfaces.

* The desire to design experiences that delight users and convert them into raving fans of Scribe.

* Strong communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts and decisions.

**Bonus Points**

* You have experience with Tailwind.

* You are comfortable writing or editing HTML and CSS.

* Experience with shepherding your work through github pull requests and giving feedback on the code our engineers are writing for your designs.

$150k-$180k USD salary + equity\
