We’re looking for a graphic designer with a sense of style and expertise working across a wide range of media. The ideal candidate is able to balance a deep understanding of screen UI and typographic layouts with an instinct to create work that feels truly unique, drawing from a range of sources of inspiration across design history. Once here you will:

• Collaborate with Samara’s brand and marketing team to bring design concepts to life, ranging from print media, web/app, UI/UX, slide decks, business reports and billboards

• Ensure that Samara’s visual language works consistently across different mediums

• Create comprehensive specs that show exactly how designs will work on different screens and devices

• Create clear hierarchical typographic systems that meet accessibility standards for customer-facing web/mobile interfaces, as well as print/PDF publications

Experience we value:

• Portfolio of unique work that makes an impact

• 5 years experience in graphic design or related design discipline

• Incredible typographic skills for both screen and print

• Experience across all phases of web design from ideation to execution and the ability to create high fidelity UI specs and prototypes

• Pro-level motion graphics skills with special attention to timing and fluidity of movement

• Experience working across all phases of print production, from design to proofing and production

• Demonstrated ability to work on small, focused teams to complete projects under pressure with tight deadlines

• Fluency in a range of design and prototyping software - Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Principle, Framer, etc.

• Pro-grade Keynote skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail
