Learning Coordinator

Help expand the reach and influence of our education team.

We’re looking for a multi-disciplined Learning Coordinator to expand our capability and reach in the global education sector. In this role, you'll have be oriented towards life-long learning, with a focus on content for professional and Industry learning as well as on-going user education.

The role.

This is a a role in which you’ll both foster relationships and develop curriculum which shows the functionality and power of Procreate and its features. This role sits within the Communications team, and you’ll report directly to the Head of Communications, Lauren Yates-Jones. You'll work closely with members of the Communications team, our internal creative teams, and the Digital team. You’ll also have regular opportunities to work with external stakeholders and relevant business partners.

You’ll connect with industry and educational institutions with the view to expand adoption of Procreate in a range of creative pipelines. You'll work closely with you colleagues to deliver Procreate-specific lesson plans, workshops, tutorials, and other educational material both online and in-person.

What you'll do.

Develop entertaining and informative educational resources. The content you produce will be designed with educators and users in mind. Your challenge will be to create resources which highlight and explain Procreate features and functionality in a straightforward, beautiful and engaging way. This includes user guides and and reference documentation as well as illustrative, designed and written content in a range of formats and compatible with both web and social media.

Putting Procreate in the hands of individuals and organisations. Your work will not only inspire and empower our users but foster the adoption of Procreate in workplaces and professional industries. To do so you will deliver training, workshops and tutorials across the globe both online and in person. You will expand our network of B2B relationships, in tandem with our Partnerships Manager, by producing workshops that demonstrate practical use cases across a range of professional domains.

Marketing and broader education strategy. You’ll work with other members of the Marcom team to consolidate our materials and relationships with the view to grow our influence, our range of resources and the depth and breadth of our professional partnerships. You'll identify opportunities to align our strategy with the movements and strategy of those of our most critical external partners. In addition, you'll conduct research into education industry best-practice, progressive pedagogy and creativity in learning methodology.

User engagement and support. As Learning Coordinator, you'll be a representative of Procreate as both a product and brand. In addition to meeting with industry bodies, educators, students and Procreate users, you'll provide support to our Social Media Coordinator to produce material for our education-facing social media channels. This work will coincide with the work our Product Care team does in relation to fielding education related enquiries and requests for technical support from educators adopting Procreate in their respective institutions.

Deep and significant experience working with Procreate. This opportunity is for someone that is interested in creative work, that understands the power of Procreate and has a deep understanding of its features and functionality with a demonstrated ability to produce a wide variety of visual content in Procreate. You will be a regular, if not, daily user of Procreate, have a background in traditional art and be capable with a range of creative software – ultimately you will understand and be able to apply fundamental design principles in your content and material.

Attention to technical and visual detail. You're the type of person that always sweats the small stuff. Our user base and community are accustomed to the industry leading user experience of Procreate, you'll emulate and match these standards in the learning resources you create and the method and manner in which you deliver those resources.

Experience in teaching or educational roles. You’ll have had experience developing and/or delivering educational material. Whether your experience is with children or adult learners, you will be comfortable with public speaking and be able to effectively convey information in the most appropriate way for the audience/group at hand. You may have built this skill set by creating content for platforms like YouTube or similar or perhaps through years of work in classrooms or other formal and informal educational arenas - or both.

An interest and drive to share information and knowledge. You’ll have a passion for engaging with people and organisations to share your knowledge. This role is for someone who takes joy in seeing other people grow and achieve. Any experience you have had which shows your ability to lift others up will serve you well in this role.

A history of successful networking and stakeholder management. A core function of this role is the ability to develop and maintain ongoing professional and mutually beneficial relationships. You will need to be comfortable engaging with people from an array of industries and walks of life on a regular and on-going basis - networking is something that gives you a sense of professional satisfaction.

Excellent written and verbal communications. Not only will you produce artistic content for lessons and tutorials, but you will also write the accompanying marketing and instructional copy. You will need to understand the needs and goals of the people you are working with and be able to articulate the value of Procreate to those people based on their specific requirements.
