What you will do

• Work with founders to define product and UX strategy for key product areas

• Drive explorations to spur bold and innovative people-centric products

• Research and analyze user needs, iterate on product features, and rapidly prototype with dev team

• Own and shape a cohesive design language that enables everyone to move fast

• Collaborate with customers (creators and community builders), designers, partnerships to understand needs and iterate on solutions.

• Additionally, as a founding team member, you will shape company culture and be an active decision maker, and help hire and mentor other engineers

Desired skills and experience

• 3+ years experience

• Ability to wear a few different hands (designer, UX research, Product Management, etc)

• Ability to be scrappy and rapidly create mocks & wireframes for new product experiences and interactions

• Ability to help team navigate ambiguity through design process

• Ability to balance information architecture and long term design language with short term ship velocity

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent with prototyping tools (Figma, Origami etc).

• While you will not be expected to code, some experience with coding your own fun projects is a huge plus

Key details

• Bay area based and in-person centric: We think remote work is the future, but the best way to break ground is to start with a close in-person team. Our expectation is that the office will be the center of activity, though you will be free to work from home as needed. We will cover the costs of relocation to the bay area.
