Role Description

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of our products as we scale our AI capabilities and user base. You will be working directly with our technical leadership team to build brand new AI features for OMEGA Focus and our multimodal AI systems!

You will integrate cutting-edge AI technologies and optimize performance to deliver exceptional user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of core technical decisions and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Integration: Collaborate on integrating LLMs, voice and multimodal models into the OMEGA platform.

• Decentralized AI Development: Develop new features and capabilities for our Bittensor subnets

• Build & Scale: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable back-end systems to support our AI-driven applications.

• System Optimization: Ensure low latency, high availability, and efficient server-side architecture.

• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless product experience.

• Technical Leadership: Contribute to key architectural decisions and establish best practices for development, testing, and deployment.

What We're Looking For

Experience: 3+ years of experience working across the full technical stack, with exposure to AI/ML technologies.

Technical Versatility:

• Demonstrated proficiency in backend system development

• Self-sufficient in designing and implementing end-to-end features

• Comfortable making autonomous technical decisions

Core Technical Skills:

• Strong foundation in Python, FastAPI, or other backend technologies

• Experience with modern web frameworks and UI development

• Knowledge of LLMs, AI APIs, and model deployment

• Proficiency with databases (Postgres) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, & GCP)

Blockchain & Network Knowledge:

• Understanding of Bittensor's decentralized AI platform and subnet architecture

• Experience with blockchain technologies, particularly in AI/ML contexts

• Familiarity with token economics and decentralized networks

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working with AI model fine-tuning or deployment

• Familiarity with WebSocket or real-time communication systems

• Prior startup or early-stage company experience

Bonus Technical Experience:

• Basic frontend development skills

• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (CrewAI, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, MemGPT, Autogen, DSPy)

• Experience with autonomous agent frameworks (Mixture of Agents, autonomous SWE repos)

• Background in developing and orchestrating multi-agent systems

• Understanding of autonomous agent architectures and communication protocols

• Experience with agent memory systems and long-term context management

• Knowledge of how to build and deploy models on Bittensor subnets

• Understanding of validator/miner dynamics in decentralized AI systems
